Dance Plague Party 2025

Jussi “Dance Plague” Kirkkopelto’s free Birthday swing and blues dance party was held with two live bands on Saturday 27.9.2025 18.00-01.00 at Black Pepper Swing premises, Karjalankatu 2, 4th floor, Helsinki, Finland.

Wow, what a night. Some many smiles, dances, hugs, nice words and tears. Thanks for coming and making a great party and you had such nice surprises for me. I didn’t have a clue. Even from Out of the Blues except very last minute. Big thanks for them and The Shangri-La Showgirls without forgetting our great bands. Please book Tanssiorkesteri Humu and Little Willie Mehto for your own events and parties. I need hear more swing, jazz and blues.

Everything went smoothly and I always had helping hands, when I felt myself busy elsewhere. Special thanks for self-organizing DJs, party survivors (end cleaners) and Black Pepper Swing.

I have always so much text here, but just few five things left…

1. Share your photos and videos. My suggestion is that share them all, not just the best shot. There can be some small things or music that is interesting for somebody. New Google Photos link provided in email and WhatsApp, but old Google Drive link works too.

2. Please give feedback about the party organizing itself. It was not commercial event, but I need to know what went well and what could be improved for the future event. And for the record, gathering feedback and learning is regular cycle of my work role.
